Bio: A film on gentrification

Location: Peachtree & Auburn

Why you should #FF: The Atlanta Way is a documentary made for US by US, no I’m not talking about FUBU!

The Atlanta Way, a documentary by Psyentific Films/Casclayde Media Productions reflects on the effects of gentrification on the city of Atlanta.  The film was directed and produced by several past and current Georgia State University students including, Director King Williams, Co-Director Alvin Reeves, Executive Producer Zettler Clay, Producer Jessica Tipton, Producer Sean Gleason, Consultant Saba Long and many more.

The film will be featured at this year’s American Sociological Association (ASA) annual meeting in Atlanta this weekend. In addition, The Atlanta Way will embark on two exciting collaborations with the artistic group Living Walls (@LivingWallsATL).

Today you can check out a panel discussion set to feature reps from Creative Loafing and Intown Paper, followed by a screening of the film tomorrow. Please come out and support! It’s the thing to do, it’s The Atlanta Way.
