Anthony Sowell - MURDERER

I wanted to take two seconds out of my day to let you know something that you should know: the Not Guilty by insanity plea means GUILTY. The plea rarely works and the reason is because its the excuse that murderers pull out of their ass because they have no excuse. I have a morbid fascination and so I’ve been following the Anthony Sowell case, the alleged murderer of 11 women in Ohio. He killed all these women and buried them in and around his house. His neighborhood wrenched for years and nobody did anything about it. Sowell served 15 years in prison for rape and attempted murder and was released around 2004 I think.

What is interesting to me is that 1] I don’t have a clear memory of a serial killer in my lifetime so this is the first serial killing case to affect me and 2] dude is black! I seriously thought serial killers were only crazy old white dudes… It goes to show that you should not cater to stereotypes and be more open minded, especially when it comes to such sensitive topics…. you might get yourself killed! I’m being silly now, but back on the interesting facts about this case… another thing that intrigued me was that all of the murderers victims were black women. When I looked at the very brief bios of these women they were mostly identified because they had criminal records for drug abuse. Most of them were also mothers. I sort of think that some of the women were prostitutes. I mean dude is not attractive and his house reeks.  No woman would continue to see and develop a relationship with a dude with obvious B.O. Many reports talked about how foul he smelled. I mean living with dead corpses would seem to leave a stench on the skin. GROSS!

Obviously the guy is insane to commit murder. He is at least way past being awkward! I think that pleading insanity confirms his guilt. I can’t imagine trying to defend a murderer. How do you put yourself in the mind of a murderer? How do you justify it? Such a weird thing.
