Soooo Im extremely late with this one, I’ve been extremely busy but IM BACK…

A few weekends ago my good friend Chamese (check out her HAUTE blog on fashion – stylefidelty.com) got an invite to a VIP opening for the Nomantique fashion event in ATL, and she invited me to tag along for the fun too.  Chamese and I are very into fashion, and we both are aspiring stylists, so we knew that the networking opportunities were gonna be PRICELESS.  The event featured TONS of ATL boutiques, with 80% markdowns of their apparrel and other products….I was in heaven (but swore to myself I was not gonna make a purchase – and it was SO hard).  Other than free drinks, there was a live visual installation by Greg Mike, Photos taken by Atari Charm, and 50′s retro hair styling by the ladies of Dixie Pin-Ups.  We were able to make TONS of great connects and we met a lot of interesting people in the ATL fashion world, including Bill Hallman, Poor Little Rich Girl (An ATL vintage shop), Nicole Garner (PR Queen of ATL), Rowdy designer Greg Mike (see more of his work here) the designer of Mizzae, Decatur Dan reppin Standard Boutique (standardatl.com) the ladies of Dixie Pin-Up, and Drew Lewis (of the Drew Lewis Boutique).  I was also able to meet my FAV ATL housewife Lisa Wu- Hartwell, and she is extremely sweet and gorgeous in person.

  3. I saw these pics up and they are so cute. I wish I made it out. Total disappointment but I’m glad Urban was there to cover all the excitement.
