MAC FALL NAIL TREND 2009

I remember back in the day, Futurista and I used to go to this nail salon called “NAILED.”  Call us pervs if you want, but it was kind of funny saying, “I just got NAILED!” lol  Anyways,  I was just at the pool with my daughter trying to catch some last minute pool time with her.  I noticed that my gators (aka toes) were lookin’ rougher than the back of a rhino.  So I’m on MAC looking for the new new in polish colors… and I came across their new nail trend for the fall/winter.  I got so excited about the colors that I decided to share with fem-fATL.

Summer nails were brighter, shimmery pastels (yellows, pinks, corals, turquoise).  Fall/winter nails will look like high-glossed fall foliage, a little less bright but still rich and lustrous.  If you are short on money and can’t get “NAILED”… buff your nails with a 3$ block (from Target, Wal Mart, CVS) and file them to whatever length you prefer.  Then, paint on one of these hot colors for the fall.  Your nails become an instant accessory!  Urban nails herself all the time… lol… you might notice in the pics because she always brings color to the table!
