Miss Brittany Bosco….

The other night my friend Sophe Nix invited me out with her to Sambuca for their Tuesday Night Feng Shui session.  I had never been, so I was more than eager to go.  Feng Shui is a night where artists of ATL come out and perform, its very chill and laid back…. and to me there is nothing better than sippin on white wine while listening to music.  I was so impressed with the amount of talented people in the room, everyone had a different style of music to offer.  The main act of the night was Brittany Bosco, I had heard of her alot before and had only seen her perform once when I was at Broke & Boujee.  Brittany is very unique, her fashion style is SICK and very individual, and by observing I could tell that she was a magnetic character.

The moment Brittany started singing the entire room got quiet, her voice was very soulful and enchanting.  Her Jazz style made me feel as though I was sitting in a lounge back in Harlem back in the 1930′s, when jazz music was a form of life….somewhere very reminiscent of the Cotton Club.  She was a mixture of Nina Simone, Billy Holiday, and even a little bit of Erykah Badu.  So with that said, let me introduce you to Miss Brittany Bosco, watch her music video “Blues for Blue/Black & White” and allow her to take you back to the 1930′s…

  2. Brit brings it back for real. I love her video and its artistic style. Bosco is a true artist musically and individually. Check this out too for similar vibes- from La Notte – a classic from Michelangelo Antonioni (1961) with Jeanne Moreau and Marcello Mastroianni – two of the most amazing actors EVER.
