Yeah bet it up! Forever I luv ATL but am sickened by recent statistics given to the city by the annual FBI crime statistics.  We were recently ranked the 2nd least safe city following Memphis, TN.  So ATL is home to fashion, fun, sexy fem-fATL’s and crime!  Although violent crimes have gone down, property, burglary, and larceny crimes are steadily increasing.  One unique aspect of Atlanta is that these crimes are not isolated in specific areas, the trend displays that they are all over.  So whether you reside in the SWATS (gotta be a real ATLien to know that area), Sandy Springs, or even Buckhead, I assure that you are not safe!

A more recent tale tale example of these crimes were the invasions and thefts done by the infamous Blue Jean Bandits.  This time, they hit yet another high-priced boutique in the Lenox Square shopping area where they smashed and grabbed highend designer jeans.  Lets just say these guys are pros and will be getting away with this for many more years to come just like many other expert robbers in the area.

 Another case was lil ol’ me!  Even around the safer Midtown area, someone managed to break into my car and get away with all my law school prep information and my MAC lipgloss.  The irony of it all was that I was parked between a BMW X-5 and a Porshe in front of a million-dollar mansion!

 So I urge my new and old ATLiens keep your shit in a secure place, don’t trust folks in designer jeans, and don’t think just because your car is parked between two sexy-ass vehicles that people still aren’t willing to break into it!
